As a child in Italy growing up amongst the masters of esthetic communion Edoardo was sparked with artistic ferver to create, sketch, paint, carve and sculpt in ice and later more permanently in wood.
Later, when Edoardo moved to the United States at age 14 he also studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Edoardo first chose to utilize his love of design by employing his talent in ice sculptures.
Opposing emotions are self evident in the intensity revealed in his sculptures. Impressive and meaningful are the crisp cuts his style of chain-saw mastery imposes on choice selected cords of wood. The finished pieces, with carefully crafted grain and smooth finishes, long to be caressed as all good wooden articles do. The beauty of his art expresses the beauty of nature. Definitely Edoardo is a cut above the rest!
